Why, when you are hoping to relax and switch your brain off for 1 evening a week and veg in front of the idiot box is there fuck all on?

I am watching Lee Evans - The Ultimate Experience. It is that bad I am quoting word for word as I have this on DVD already.

My partner who isn't into Lee Evans like I am is now starting to quote the odd joke too.
