MSN have reported on a story of a 3 year old child shooting her 2 year old brother in California on Wednesday.

The police investigation is still ongoing.

The little girl found a 45 calibre semi-automatic handgun under the bed in her parents' room.

The little boy was taken to Kern Medical Centre where he was later pronounced dead.

The children's mother was in another room of the apartment at the time of the shooting. Their father was at work.

The question I have is who is to blame? The mum for not keeping an eye on her children, the father for keeping a gun under the bed?

Will the parents get punished? Will the little girl be taken in to care? Will the little girl be punished?
