When I thought MP's couldn't stoop any lower than they already have, I came across this.
Frank Cook has cooked his books to claim back a measly £5 which he had given to the church as a donation.
To rub salt into the wound the donation was made at a Battle of Britain memorial service.
Mr Cook has now described this incident as a mistake.
Putting your underwear on the wrong way round this morning is a mistake.
Putting in a claim for a £5 donation is not a mistake that is taking the piss.
